This is how the whole range is built, from the designer bowls through to the twenty-five function smart models. There is no version of a Starke toilet bowl with a rim in it.

What the rim was doing
Ensures that no dirt and unwanted unpleasant residue will be trapped in your Starke’s toilet, making it easy to clean for you.
A conventional toilet bowl has a lip running around its top edge, with the flush holes hidden underneath it. It is the one part of the bowl your brush never properly reaches and your eye never sees, which is a poor combination.
Rimless design takes the lip away. The top edge is open, the inside of the bowl is a continuous surface, and there is nowhere left for residue to sit out of sight.

The flush reaches everything
With no lip in the way, the whirlpool flush from Starke Siphon covers every spot inside the bowl instead of running along a channel.
It stays clean between cleans
Nothing is accumulating in a place you are not looking at.
The pairing
The glaze does the other half
An open bowl is only half of it. The surface itself matters just as much, which is what Starke Sauber does: an anti-bacterial glaze fired into the ceramic before the bowl is finished, ultra-smooth enough that its ridges are smaller than the waste particles that would otherwise catch on them.
Rimless design removes the hiding place. Sauber removes the foothold.
And it does not splash
The bowls are designed to be anti-splashing, so an open rim does not mean water leaving the bowl.

Questions about rimless bowls
