The toilet seat is designed to reach specified temperatures within 5 seconds when it senses motion within a 10 cm radius.
Two numbers, and between them they describe the whole idea. The seat is not warm because it has been heating since breakfast. It is warm because it noticed you at ten centimetres and had five seconds to do something about it.

Five seconds is the whole wait
By the time you are seated the seat is at temperature. There is nothing to switch on and nothing to remember.

Seat temperature is adjustable, so warm means what you want it to mean rather than one fixed setting decided in a factory.

The seat is the part you notice first. Two others sit alongside it.
Automated seat cover heating keeps the cover in the same behaviour as the seat.
Warm wind drying, at a temperature you choose, runs after the water spray so you finish dry. Drying temperature is adjustable in the same way seat temperature is.
